As leaders we are trained to take care of everyone and everything but ourselves. I encourage you to take a moment and take care of "YOURSELF." Put YOURSELF at the top of the list from time to time and:
• Take care of your mind
• Take care of your body
• Feel better about yourself
• Improve the quality of your relationships
• Manage your emotions
• Handle personal and work challenges
• Take a long walk
• Get a massage
• Read a book
• Take a nap
• OR just sit still and shut down for a few minutes
When you take care of yourself, you are more innovative, creative, open to new ideas, and a stronger leader for your team. After all isn't that the goal?
